LOST MAINE COON CATS

Sage is a large Maine Coon cross 2 year old cat who went missing on the morning of October 31st 2010 from Halfmoon Road which is three lots south of the firehall on Redrooffs Road.  She can be shy of people she does not know but is very inquisitive about new surroundings and had only lived with us for 2 months.   Sage is a very striking girl with a gold, brown and black tabby coat, a very long furry tail and large eyes.   She usually chirups rather than meows when she vocalises.     She has been missing for quite a long time so my hope is that someone has found her and is enjoying her beautiful personality and stunning appearance in a loving home. I would like to know what happened to her.  We are offering a reward for her. Please contact Margaret at 604 740 3732 or by email at redrooffsnewby@msn.com.

Our beloved Lucy was spooked, or taken by a predator sometime between the hours of 5:30AM and 7:00AM on Easter Monday, April 13, 2009. The household had been in upheaval as Monica had been in Hospital in Vancouver for a month and Geoff was travelling back and forth a lot.  Monica came home the Wednesday before Easter.  We had to move some of the furniture around in order to get the hospital bed in the living room.  Lucy wanted to sit on Monica and couldn't because of the wound site, but she was happy to sit on her usual spot at the end of the bed.  Lucy's longtime friend and housemate, Jack, rescued from the SPCA five years ago joined Lucy outside in the early morning.  Birds were singing and Lucy is a keen hunter.  Around 7 in the morning, Jack was coaxed out from under the back porch, but of Lucy there was no sign.  No blood, no fur, nothing.

Lucy is a a grey and white tabby Maine Coon X.  She has a wonderful ruff, tufts on all her toes, the Maine tail.  The only thing she lacks is the Maine ear tufts.  We have put posters up everywhere, have notified SPCA and Happy Cat.  Can you please post a notice.  We miss her and Jack really misses her.  Thanks.
